In an interview with Iran Expo News, Amir Roshanbakhsh Ghanbari said that this year’s Iran Expo was met with broad استقبال from traders and senior officials from various countries, including prime ministers, presidents, and ministers. He noted that the event, which points to a major leap forward in Iran’s export development, provides a unique opportunity for signing trade agreements and increasing Iran’s share in global markets.

He added that the strong presence of high-ranking officials—among them prime ministers, presidents, ministers, and heads of chambers of commerce—reflects the exhibition’s upward trajectory and its growing stature in the global calendar of trade events.

Ghanbari continued: “This widespread international engagement can be seen as the beginning of a new spring for Iran’s export development.”

He explained that, in light of positive shifts in the region’s political climate, countries have received encouraging signals and, through their enthusiastic participation in this international event, are seeking to tap into Iran’s market opportunities while also exploring investment prospects aimed at boosting exports and domestic production.

Expressing optimism, Ghanbari said he hopes the outcomes of the exhibition will contribute to improving Iran’s export balance and lead to the conclusion of profitable trade agreements for the country’s private sector. He also emphasized the importance of expanding Iran’s export share through such interactions.

At the same time, the Deputy for International Business Development noted that the Africa Economic Cooperation Summit and Iran Expo 2025, held in Ordibehesht (May) of this year, will serve as a major platform and a starting point for positive developments in trade relations.

Referring to the Trade Promotion Organization’s efforts to strengthen the cultural dimension of the seventh Iran Expo, he said: “Iran’s rich cultural landscape can give rise to innovative and distinctive opportunities in foreign trade. That is why we organized dedicated sessions on creative industries and knowledge-based enterprises during the exhibition, which yielded encouraging results.”
